as the sun becomes a little hazier, leaves start to change colour, chillier days get shorter, let thoughts of the changing season lead you into autumn, so why not fill your mug with a favourite hot drink, curl up on a comfortable sofa, and make plans, for example ...
* ease into your autumn wardrobe by adding just a layer, or two, to your summer favourites before having to pack them away until next year
* swap summer's lighter colours to richer, darker shades and warmer textures in your home
* check out new seasonal recipes
* make a list of 'must-watch' new, or missed, films and tv series and 'must read' books
* revive a neglected hobby, or try a new one
* tidy, plan, plant in the garden, patio, courtyard, balcony, window box or pots
* rethink a least a little 'TLC' program for yourself including being in touch with 'neglected' friends
and maybe imagine yourself taking an autumn city break in the UK or maybe in New York, Paris, Rome ...but if travel isn't possible at the moment for whatever reason, try getting away without leaving home - except maybe for an occasional trip to you local bookshop, library or travel agent - choose a destination thru books, magazines, supplements, brochures and last but not least, the Internet and ...

3 - track down movies to buy or rent that were filmed there on location including 'foreign' speaking films with subtitles
4 - research and download some atmospheric music
5 - choose recipes from an appropriate cookery book and maybe some wine
6 - find a local deli or market who sell the required ingredients
7 - prepare a delicious meal , style a table or tray setting, put the storyboard on show, have the atmospheric music or movie playing in the background
